Higher education institutions such as universities must provide violence prevention education (sexual violence, domestic violence) at least once a year in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.

A. Training period: April 1, 2024 (Monday) ~ 12.31 (Tue)

B. Subject to education: Students enrolled in Chonnam National University

C. Check the method and results of online training

- Chonnam National University Portal Login → Right <Education and Training> → Violence Prevention Education (sexual harassment, sexual violence, etc.)

- Chonnam National University Store → Violence Prevention Education App (Watch out for data charges when completing smartphone training)

- Certificate of completion of training → Available to print from PC (https://edupool.jnu.ac.kr/) )

D. Current Status of Compulsory Completion of Violence Prevention Education

- Reflecting the evaluation of the department of student completion rate, reflecting the completion of the student program on campus

- Students who have completed violence prevention education are selected first in the case of a tie-breaker in the evaluation of external scholarships

E. Other matters

1) Training hours: Once a year, 1 hour each in the area of sexual violence and domestic violence (a total of 2 hours)

2) Freshman: Completion of violence prevention training within two months of admission

3) If the student participation rate is less than 50%, our university is designated as an institution with poor violence prevention education operation
