Educational Goals
Department of Economics sets three educational goals of Problem-solving education, Market-community balanced education, and Communicative education, which constitute the motto of the department, P=MC.
We offer students theoretical and practical courses to raise their ability of understanding and analyzing the market system and solving economic problems they face in the real economy.
Most of principles and basic courses are provided for freshman and sophomore, and applied and practical subjects are provided for junior and senior.
In particular, we cover the following economics subjects: microeconomics, macroeconomics, economic theory, international economics, financial economics, monetary economics, econometrics, development economics, labor economics, public economics, urban economics, resource and environmental economics, transportation economics, industrial economics, economic thoughts and philosophy, economic history, economics of information, and political economics.
By unifying all these subjects, we provide a confidence that economics is an incomparably powerful tool for understanding human society.
